Grandkids Update

These two look like they could be quite a pair. Madelyn came over to check Nolan out and see if the toys on the walker worked. She also leaned over and gave him a kiss, but of course I didn't have the camera ready just then.

Madelyn is almost one now and getting to be very busy. She also likes to come and play upstairs with us and finds many things to keep busy with, whether it is trying to climb up onto the bed,

or chimbing onto one of the small chairs.

Nolan is busy growing, but is pretty content and very friendly, but also likes to be busy. He likes to have toys in his hand and usually they find their way into his mouth. Looks like this particular toy doesn't taste very good.

He likes to be upright and the walker is a good place for him . As you can see he has got those toys spinning and is busy concentrating.

Her favorite place to be these days is on the counter top in the kitchen and of course we need music, and she is figuring out how the CD player works, and knows how to get music out of that machine.

If you take a good look at these pictures you might think they are all the same, but look closely and you will notice the busyness and activity that goes on when all five little ones are in the room. It is lots of fun but it pays to keep an eye on them. I think the activity level will just increase as they all get older.

With another new grandchild this year comes the need for another stocking. Here is a picture of the one I recently finished for Nolan. It was a fun one to make and hopefully he enjoys it for many years.
