On the 19th evening we opened family gifts seeing Shaun and Vicki are leaving for the west coast on the 21. On the left is mom santa and then Erik, Hailey, Amber , and then Graham. 

Oh wow, what has grandma put inside the snowman?

A shot of the new look. We redid ceiling, walls, floor, and moldings. This was a doityourselfer project that fit well in a cold spell of a Manitoba winter. 

This is the sweety i was referring to. For some reason it did not post like it should. This pic was starting off my Dec news. When we got back from the south we got to spend time working on our home and enjoying the family. By now this sweety grandbaby can walk around the house and look for new things to explore. She has many smiles but no teeth. Hailey is grandbaby number one and her parents are Erik and Amber. 

This is my other sweety. On this pic you get to see some of Jo 's hobbies and the result of the room makeover. She is working on Hailey's snowman stocking and almost got it finished. With having the family over early this year the hours for hobbies was a little short. She plans to finish it in Jan. The room makeover got done in about two weeks. The little houses in the background Jo has built over the last 30 years. They get lit up and put up for the christmas season.
