Grand Finale Continued

Kerry was kept very busy trucking this afternoon as the four combines kept filling the trucks and grain cart almost as soon as he could get it back to the field. Every inch of storage is full and so we had to borrow trucks to tide us over untill we can haul some beans to the elevator and free up some of our bins. So no, the semi you see in the last picture is not ours. It feels good to have the crop all in and we might feel like celebrating but there is still more work to be done. No sooner were the combines gone than Erik got the big tractor and the deep tiller and headed out to get to cultivating. We have done scraper work and tilled most of the fields, but the soybean land was still waiting, and then comes anhydrous work. A farmer's work is never done! At least not until freeze up!
