Ruby's

Hasn't it come a long way? When we first saw Ruby's house we were not sure what could be done. When we took these pictures just a few days before we left, we could see just what CAN be done with a lot of hard work and determination. The outside is looking really good with new siding and new windows, new decks and stairs. The inside shows promise and the view from the Living room window across the Bayou is great. The pictures show only bare studs in the house, but since then, the insulation has been installed as well as a lot of drywall. The yard is looking great thanks to a lot of cleanup from a lot of different volunteers, and some of the trees are starting to leaf out. It looks promising and Ruby is very excited and happy about what has been and is still being done. She can hardly wait to move in!
