Shae Mackenzie Friesen

Introducing our newest grand-daughter, Shae Mackenzie, new little daughter of Graham and Kristy, and little sister to Norah. She was born on September 20, 2020 in Kelowna, BC and weighed in at 5 lbs, 15 oz. and measured 17 3/4 inches long. She entered this world 5 weeks early and is doing well, but still in hospital. Kerry and I are here in Chilliwack with Norah and enjoying our time with her, but we may head back to Kelowna today so that Norah can meet her new little sister and get to see her Mommy and Daddy again who are missing her. We would like to get better aquainted with little Shae ourselves and also spend time with Kristy and Graham. Our time with them yesterday was brief, but we did get to meet Shae and I got to hold her for a bit. She is a precious little bundle, and so tiny still, but bigger than Norah was the first time I saw her.

She looks good. Enjoy your visit. After the rain here yesterday there is really no reason to rush home.

Soooo glad you guys get to be out there for these first days. Hope you enjoy time with your grandbabies!! Give both of them a big squeeze from this 'auntie' who misses them terribly.

Congratulations on Shae's safe arrival - she's beautiful! We're so thrilled that you can be out there with Norah, too. Also so sweet that you moved into your new home before heading to BC. Blessings, Sharon and Ron

Our congrats to you, too! Shea is beautiful & doesn't appear preterm from her pictures. We pray her apneas will disappear quickly & she'll soon be ready to go home.
This must be quite a twist for you - going from working hard flat- out for so many months to a lot of playtime with Norah! It's so good that you get a break from the busyness at home. The sun is shining, the wind is blowing & things are drying! Syl & Larry
