IT'S SPRING!
The snow is almost gone and outside my front door these cheery little crocuses are blooming. A sure sign of spring.
Out on the yard the equipment is getting worked on and loaded for seeding. Can it be that time already?
Sure enough, before the day is over the tractor moves out and onto the field and seeding is underway! Another sure sign of spring! The first field of wheat is being put into the ground and the farming season is begun.

Hi Ker & Jo!
I've been keeping my eye out for farmers on the fields around here but have yet to spot one. There are still areas of standing water on some of the fields but the weather has been great this week with lots of sunshine. I'm sure they'll be on where they can very shortly now. Definitely late!

Here we go again!!
I'm actually excited for the start of this farming season...one of the reasons being that I'm going into it with a good attitude and I'm mentally prepared for the late nights & having Erik gone so much! I know I know, it only took 7 years...so I'm a slow learner ;)
YIKES...I can't believe your farming already!! Looking forward to being able to bring Norah to the farm and to see the black dirt and smell the country fresh spring air. Miss you.
Let the madness begin! Kerry going already will make a lot more farmers anxious to go. Good luck, be safe.
Hello from sunny Italy! It's all so nice & green & warm here, it's not difficult to imagine you being out on the fields! Get those fields seeded before the rain begins. Do you think there'll be anything coming up by the time we get home? Sylvia
