Next after Kansas we got to Nebraska. Here we stopped over at Roger and Bev's.
We met them down in Diamond this winter and enjoyed working with them. We got to spend a great evening visiting and checking out the farm and the town.
The winter wheat was looking very green and lush and Roger was almost ready to start the corn planting. The weather had been very warm till we got there but that day the wind had turned north and temps got to -6c (18f or so) the morning we left.

The next morning we got to see some Nebraska zemmel. Roger and Bev had brought some of them to Diamond in the winter so we knew they were not extinct. Thanks so much for the visit and sleeping with the crickets.
