Hi to all. We left Manitoba yesterday"in the morning" and had a good drive. We got in two naps, an hour for lunch at this nature center in MPS. and took almost an hour for dinner and still made it south of Chicago. The stop at the nature center for lunch included a walk about in "the swamp" so i included my favorite nature and also a few ducks for Hailey. Today we plan to be at my sisters by lunch and spend Labour day with them. We drove in some rain but not to much. The crops vary alot with some good and others very poor
This was a floating walk way and just about fell off when i backed up to take the picture. Jo would have enjoyed it more if I had. sorry maybe next time
So many lily pads the ducks had to fight for their space.

By "in the morning" do you mean just after midnight? You had to have left very early to get all that in in one day. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Glad that you were able to enjoy the beiginning of your trip. Just to let your know Mark and Bonnie had their baby on Sept. 3 at 8:00 in the evening. They had a baby girl. She was a little over 8 pounds and 20.5 inches. She has dark hair and a round face. Her name is Angelina Gale Estella. Mom, Dad and baby are happy and healthy! Have fun and say hi to uncle Mark and Auntie June and the kids.
Yikes, watch your step...good thing you didn't fall off the walk way! I can just hear mom chuckling about it though :) Hailey liked the picture of the ducks.
